Swimming and Sushi on a Scorching Summers Day!

Organiser - Anna
Who? - Helen, Anna, Sarah, Nikki, Fleur, Colette.
When? - 2nd July 2009
Where? - Swimming at Holborn Oasis Outdoor Pool and Sushi at Sushi Hiroba.
How Much? - £3.90 swim + £17.00 per head for sushi and wine.

"It was surprising to find out that there was an outdoor pool right in the centre of London. Just on High Holborn, a stones throw from Covent Garden and Oxford Street - Holborn Oasis Centre is centrally placed. With outside temperatures topping 29 degrees, we were all really looking forward to a cool swim. The Sports Centre is a little dated and the changing rooms leave much to be desired, but none of us minded that! It was quite crowded when we were there, with the hot weather tempting people in. There wasn't much room for swimming, so inevitably more talking that swimming was done!
Next on to Sushi Hiroba, some of us sushi veterans and others trying it for the first time. It was a great meal and the house white wine was surprisingly refreshing!"
